High phosphorus electroless nickel plating, also referred to as EN, is a chemical process that deposits an even layer of nickel on the surface of a solid piece of metal. The electroless plating process prevents corrosion and wear which is important for certain types of materials and products.
Electroless Nickel plating is the perfect solution for parts with complex shapes, such as inside square corners, deep narrow ribs, or small complex designs since the deposited nickel layer is even on all surfaces.
Nickel plating is used to achieve any of the following, either separately, or in combination with one another: high corrosion protection, wear resistance, precision derails, and uniformity of thickness.
